What is FNQ Virtual Support, and who are you?
I'm based in Cairns, FNQ, and I get the unique challenges of running a business up here because I live it too. I offer virtual admin, website creation, social media management, grant writing, and business support, all with a friendly, down-to-earth approach.

Can you help me sort out my chaotic inbox?
Absolutely. Email wrangling is my jam. I'll clean out the clutter and set up folders, automations and filters so your inbox actually works for you, not against you.
What platforms do you support for websites? Can you migrate my old site?
I use Wix for fresh builds, but I can help you migrate or improve an existing site from Squarespace, Weebly, WordPress, or wherever you started. I handle the tech so you don't have to.
How much social media support can I get?
From a post a week to full daily management, you set the pace. I create content, schedule it, monitor your accounts, and engage with followers to keep your brand looking active and approachable.
Do you provide Canva graphic design?
You bet. Canva's my go-to for graphics, banners, flyers and posts. If you need something fancier, I can work alongside your designer or put together custom assets myself.
What business tasks do you handle?
Bookkeeping, client onboarding, invoicing, file organisation, appointment scheduling, data entry, process mapping, research, minute-taking at virtual meetings. If it's admin, I do it.
Do you offer client portal setup?
Yes. I can set up secure portals for you and your clients, so collaboration and document sharing stay simple.
I'm worried about privacy. How do you keep my info safe?
I treat your data like gold. Secure cloud storage, password best practices, and confidentiality as standard. Your information is never shared or sold.
Grant Writing & Funding
Are grant applications really worth my time?
They're competitive, but leave it with me and I'll position your business or project for the best shot. I've helped FNQ tradies, artists and nonprofits win grants that mattered to them.
What do I need to provide for a grant application?
Usually your goals, project details, proof of legal status, supporting documents, and a brief write-up of your story. I'll walk you through exactly what's needed and polish the submission with you.
Payment & Policies
How can I pay?
Bank transfer and card are the easiest. Just let me know your preference.
Is there a minimum job size?
No, I don't believe in minimums. If you just need an hour of help, I'm happy to jump in.
Why do you round up by the hour?
It keeps things simple. Less faffing about with half-hours, less confusion. You always know what you're paying upfront.
What if I need more help than I planned?
I'm flexible. Let me know and I'll adjust the plan and update the quote so you're always clear on where things stand.
When do I pay for a website build?
A 50% deposit gets us started, and the remainder is due on launch. If you change your mind before launch, you get half back (see terms for details).
Working Together
Can you work with my accountant or bookkeeper?
No worries. I'm used to collaborating with all sorts of professionals. Just put us in touch and I'll team up with them for you.
How do you keep projects on track?
I agree timelines up front, send regular updates, and flag any hiccups early. Keeping you in the loop is standard, not an extra.
What if I don't like something you've done?
I want you happy with everything I deliver, and I offer reasonable revisions right up until you've formally signed off or confirmed you're satisfied. Once you've signed off or accepted a deliverable, the work's considered complete. At that point I can't accommodate further changes or redos unless we agree on a new scope and quote. It keeps things clear and fair for both of us.
Can you rush a job for me?
Often, yes. Let me know if you're in a hurry and I'll be upfront about what's realistic.
Do you offer weekend or after-hours support?
Typically weekdays, but if you've got a genuine emergency, give me a yell and I'll do my best.
Technical Advice
Will my website update automatically with new trends?
I use modern templates and best practices, but digital trends move fast. Ongoing updates are available if you'd like me to keep your site fresh.
Can you fix my existing website without rebuilding it?
Often. I can refresh the content, simplify the navigation, update the SEO, and tidy up the design before we even talk about a full rebuild.
How do you handle digital security?
Strong passwords, two-factor authentication, secure cloud systems, and software that's always kept up to date. Keeping your business data safe is just part of how I work.
